Kouwenhoven & Associates, Inc. was founded in November 1993 by Brian and Brenda Kouwenhoven. Brian and Brenda have worked together in the insurance industry since 1986, having married while with RUMGER Insurance Company, a direct writer of professional liability insurance in the State of Florida in the late 1980’s.
Starting an insurance agency at the end of 1993 was no easy task, but they knew if they focused on their niche of professional liability insurance, they could do it better than other agents who did not specialize in this complex area of insurance. Our strong commitment to the professional liability insurance market keeps our clients on the offensive end of purchasing coverage, ensuring that they receive the most competitive quotes year in and year out.
